for such a time as this, God has placed you on this earth.
you've got a life to live, so make it one of worth.
'though you may be a youth, or still have youth within...
who knows what God can do through your soul in love with Him?
when i read the headlines, i see a world in sin, i see a
life that is hopeless, and i struggle within... i cry:
where is God's remnant at - am i the only one.
that still is in this race? have all long stopped to run?
i know that's not the case, His church will never die.
and so we've got stand - and raise the battle cry.
o saints, the time is now - to stand tall for your King!
live bold for Jesus Christ, your life live it for Him!
this ain't the time to give in, don't bow to compromise!
we may be wounded by truth, but we'd be killed by lies.
what God has spoken, goes; 'cos yes He calls the shots.
so follow God Who lives, and not all these robots.
for such a time as this, He’s brought us to this place -
we have to stand for Him, and be strong in His grace.
you have a choice before you, will you speak up or not?
will you stand up for Jesus, or just let yourself be bought?
people the time is now! to live fully for Him,
to lay aside all hindrance, and lay aside all sin.
we must run with endurance the race before us set,
we fix our eyes on Jesus, our Lord we can’t forget.
unique The Lord made you: one you, and only one.
believe your life’s got purpose, don’t leave your work undone!
maybe your life’s like Esther’s, and God wants you to speak.
you may feel scared and worried, and think the future’s bleak.
maybe the very reason, that you are where you are,
is ‘cos God gave you this time, so pick up the shofar (curved horn blown in war)
‘cos you are in a war, that truth you can’t deny –
so will you choose to fight, or just to run and hide?
Jesus, He died for you – so will you live for Him?
in the light of His Face, all else will grow more dim.
be strong in God Almighty, the time is now so rise…
the one who does God’s will – that person never dies!
